Psychz Networks offers a wide range of dedicated servers with managed services. If you order a server with "Managed services" our support team would be glad to help you in migrating your data as well as setting up your server. But if you choose "Self-managed" services, you will have to take care of the migration process.
Now, if you are currently on a shared hosting server and want to move to a dedicated server, the easiest way to do so is to set up cPanel on the dedicated server. With the help of cPanel, you can easily migrate your data from shared server hosting to the dedicated server. But cPanel comes at an additional cost because of the license fee. And at this point you want to save some money and want to buy a plain dedicated server for your HTML based website.
Hence, you can set it up by following steps given below.
Step 1:
Choose your dedicated server as per your requirement from our wide range of options and request for an OS installation. You can choose the server of your choice from the following link https://www.psychz.net/dedicated-hosting.html
We recommend installing CentOS 7 on your machine as it is easy to use and widely popular in the market and the latest version.
Step 2:
You can follow the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) installation tutorial which will help you with the prerequisites

Step 3:
Now you must copy your website code to your server. You can transfer files from your local machine using a client like "Filezilla" as it is very easy to use. The default location where apache2 will look for is "/var/www/html" . Once you transfer the files on your server under the desired location, you should be able to access your website with the IP address of your server.
Step 4:
Finally, you should map your domain name to this machines IP address. This can be done by adding an ‘A’ record to your domain.
If you do not know how to point a domain to your server IP, you can follow the steps give in the following article
