4. The Live statistics page contains the vital information about your domain. There are four main parameters displayed on the Live Statistics page.
Request
The Request parameter displays the number of requests that are incident on your domain. When a user tries to access your domain through his web browser, it sends a request to your server. With this data, you can calculate the daily request patterns and configure your server accordingly.
Response
When a user sends a request to access your domain, the server sends a response, in return. These responses are calculated to measure the performance of the server.
Cache
This parameter keeps a record of the various attributes of the CDN cache. The cache stores the data frequently accessed by the users. We can set the cache to store data for a fixed amount of time following which the data gets expired. The various attributes are mentioned below in detail.
Hit - When the user tries to access the content from CDN and the response is served from the cache directly, a hit is recorded.
Miss - Sometimes the content has to be fetched directly from the server as it is not present in the cache. Such an event is recorded as miss.
Expired - This field keeps a count of the expired cache. The content has to be fetched from the main server.
Stale - It keeps a record of the stale content. The stale content can be served to the user even if the main server is unreachable.
Updating - It is an account of the data that is currently being updated to the cache.
Traffic
This is a very important field as it displays the sent and received data in bytes. This is a count of the total traffic incident on the domain.
Additional Filters
On the top the Live Stats page, two buttons are present which act as filters for your CDN statistics. These are mentioned below.
Data Centers - You can filter the statistics as per the various data centers we have in Los Angeles, Brazil, Dallas among others.
Update(In sec) - You can set the interval in which you want the record to be refreshed.
